Sabine has always been horse-crazy. Growing up, you could find her either at the barn or drawing horses. It wasn't until the late 90s that she rekindled her love for art, though, and combined that with her 4 legged friends once again.
" I want to give the viewers a closer look at the American West. It's a tough life with a rugged beauty. I want to tell the story of a love for a disappearing way of life, with everything that surrounds it." Having worked with John Fawcett for several years, she knew that her western art also required landscapes. Workshops with Tom Lockhart, Scott Christensen, John Budicin, Jill Carver, Martin Grelle and Bruce Greene followed. Her newfound passion and horses were a perfect combination.
She lives in Burleson, Tx with her husband, dogs and horses, her paintbox always in her saddle bags.
